What does AYADO do?
The African Youth Alliance Development Organization (AYADO) is a youth-led, interfaith, non-partisan NGO dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities in Uganda. Operating in Uganda since 2006, AYADO focuses on youth empowerment, education, WASH, protection, gender equality and social inclusion, environmental conservation, and livelihood improvement.
Where does AYADO operate?
AYADO currently operates in the three (3) districts in Uganda, which include Terego/Rhino refugee camp, Kotido (Panyangara) and Amuria districts. However, we are continuously expanding, and updates will be shared accordingly on all our platforms.
Can I donate goods or services instead of money?
Absolutely! At AYADO, we welcome in-kind donations and professional services that align with our mission and the needs of the communities we serve.
Whether it’s money, agricultural tools, seeds, sanitary supplies, educational materials, or offering your skills (such as training, mentorship, media, or technical support), your contribution can make a meaningful impact.
To coordinate an in-kind donation or offer your services, please contact us at info@ayado.org or call us on +256394725178. We’ll be happy to discuss how best your support can be integrated into our ongoing projects.
Together, we can create lasting change — in more ways than one.
How are the donated funds utilized?
At AYADO, we are committed to transparency and accountability in the use of donated funds. All contributions are directed towards implementing community-based projects that support our mission of empowering adolescents and women at risk. Every shilling received is a step closer to transforming lives and building resilient communities across Karamoja.
How can I become a volunteer or join your team?
We’re always excited to welcome passionate individuals who are committed to making a difference!
